Daily summer-season service will operate between Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Austin (AUS) starting March 2027. Delta’s seasonal Austin-Paris nonstop flight will operate daily on an Airbus A330-900 with Delta One®, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main cabin offerings.

March 27, 2027, Delta will launch the first-ever non-stop service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Austin, giving direct access to the Live Music Capital of the World®. It’s about to be quicker and easier than ever for French travellers to experience the thrill of the US Formula 1, a year-round offering of festivals, MICHELIN-starred BBQ and the Texas Hill Country. The addition of Delta’s nonstop Paris service marks another transatlantic milestone for Austin, expanding a European network that already includes Lufthansa’s direct flight from Frankfurt, KLM’s route from Amsterdam, and daily connections from London Heathrow—where British Airways has served the Live Music Capital of the World® for over 12 years and recently expanded its schedule to double-daily service.

“This is a defining moment for Austin. Launching nonstop service from Paris connects our city to one of the world’s iconic capitals and means even more of the world will experience what makes Austin unmatched: our music, our food, and our creative energy,” said Tom Noonan, President & CEO of Visit Austin. “A fourth transatlantic route leaves no doubt that Austin is a truly international destination, and a milestone like this doesn’t happen without a partner like Delta betting big on our future. We can’t wait to welcome more international travellers to the Live Music Capital of the World®.”

Austin Keeps It Weird

Austin has long captured travellers’ imaginations with the city’s famous “Keep Austin Weird” tagline. It’s a promise to celebrate the odd, the original, the bold, and the beautifully offbeat. Big festival names like SXSW and Austin City Limits pull in crowds from around the world, offering a wild mashup of tech visionaries, indie bands, and late-night taco runs.

Austin’s food scene has evolved into a powerhouse of innovation and craftsmanship. Through the first two years of the MICHELIN Guide Texas, the city has secured seven MICHELIN One Stars, 16 Bib Gourmand distinctions, and 26 recommended restaurants, along with three MICHELIN Green Stars recognising sustainable gastronomy. With numerous Young Chef Awards and MICHELIN Sommelier Awards, Austin’s culinary talent continues to thrive, and with more than 1,400 food trucks sprinkled across its dining landscape, Austin’s next generation of culinary talent is constantly emerging.
